Shasta — a browser for school and learning

Shasta is an education-friendly web browser that runs in the browser. Students can research, study, read documents and run classroom learning web apps from any computer, including school Chromebooks, with tabs, bookmarks and an on-device study assistant.

For education

• Open learning websites and study tools
• Read and annotate PDFs for homework and research
• A built-in app store of classroom apps and games
• A private study assistant that runs on the device

Used for learning at school

Shasta is where students open classroom websites and study tools, and it links straight to the resources they already use: Khan Academy, Wikipedia, Desmos, Scratch, BrainPOP and Coolmath.
